Here we celebrate the progression of the beautiful, and fast Caroline who lost 15 lbs and went from a size 6 to a size 2 since she started at Poise 6-months ago. In addition to the quick weight loss Caroline adds: "the workouts at Poise have greatly improved my strength and endurance: things I need to keep up with my kids." That's what we call functional movement.

Our beautiful, newly-wed friend Kelly flipped the usual pre-wedding stress and used it as an opportunity to progress: "I've never been someone who enjoyed working out. When I got engaged, I knew it was time to find a healthy routine so I would look my best for my wedding. For 6 months I tried different workout and diet plans but nothing stuck. Then a friend referred me to Poise and I was immediately hooked! Justin and Rachel offered so much support and truly took an interest in my goals."

I have a tear in my labrum (right shoulder) and was recommended surgery. As an alternative, I first chose physical therapy, but after attending Poise Fitness for just 3 months, I have not only regained mobility in my arm, but I am also pain free. The exercises I learned at my PT office are the same ones I have been doing at Poise Fitness this whole time!

Here we bid farewell to old injuries and slower running speeds as we feature Sally: an avid runner who hit a familiar plateau. "Getting back into running can be difficult after years of putting it aside. I was experiencing constant leg aches and shin splints. The first thing I noticed since joining Poise, was that I was no longer having this issue. I also improved my half marathon pace by 12 min, 31 sec since I started at Poise."

Jeff has been progressing at Poise for the past few months and is happy to report: "Poise has been great for me. I’m in the best shape that I’ve been in for many years. I started in October and due to hip and back issues was having trouble exercising. At that time it was hard to run more than a couple blocks. These days I'm hitting level 12 on the treadmill during the sprints. You guys are fantastic! This August my goal is to run a 10 miler in under 8 minutes per mile. Wish me luck!"

Valerie used Poise to rehabilitate some serious injuries. "Poise got me back into running after a 6 year hiatus due to a spinal injury. Yesterday I was able to run for the first time on the beach. The Poise classes gave me the training and impetus to accomplish this. Not to mention, Poise has also helped keep my body moving while recovering from a dislocated elbow, which happened more recently." And even more recently she took this picture. Dislocated elbow you say?

Nick has been rocking Poise for 6 months and has "casually" re-shaped his body. In addition to that: "I had back and leg injuries from years ago that had been a reoccurring problem, and all of them went away after I started working out at Poise. I have not had any problems nor have I had to go to the chiropractor once...I feel like I did 10 years ago."

I have been going to Poise for over a year. They have some of the best workouts I have done, and a fantastic staff of trainers that put their own unique spin on each week's routine. Justin always calls us family, and that is what makes Poise unique --it does feel like family
