5 Easy Summer Smoothies

Properly nourishing your body is the key to sustaining your energy levels, well-being, and overall health. Common sense, yes, but we still find ourselves putting things into our bodies which might not fully support that goal. Why? Because we like the way food tastes, and that can understandably take precedent at times. The best of both worlds is when we can satisfy out pallet while staying relatively healthy.

A great way to do this is by whipping up some delicious, nutrient-dense smoothies! Plus, smoothies can help satisfy your sugar cravings. Finding alternatives is a great and easy way to curb your sweet tooth. Now is the time to whip out that blender that’s collecting dust and start loading up on some fresh fruits & veggies.

With our 3 Month Summer Challenge taking us all the way up to August 13th, here is a list of smoothies you can make in less than 5 minutes to help you stay focused on hitting and maintaining your summer fitness goals.

Pre-Workout Berry Antioxidant Smoothie

1 cup Banana

1 cup Strawberries

1 cup Blackberries

1 cup Raspberries

1 cup Almond Milk

½ cup Greek Yogurt

2 cups Bananas

2 cups Almond Milk

2 tbsp Creamy Peanut Butter

1 tbsp Cacao Powder

1 tbsp Chia Seeds

How To Make Your Own Smoothie:


Mix a combination of 1 cup Greens + 1 cup Fruit + 1 cup Liquid base Any add ons are optional such as protein, chia seeds, flax seeds, ginger, ice, etc. Summer is here and fruits are at their peak. This is a great opportunity to wake up your taste buds, and play with your ingredients to see what works best for you!

The combination of your favorite fruits, veggies, and your favorite smoothie liquid (water, almond milk, etc.) can go a long way in satisfying those taste buds, while keeping you properly nourished.
